What is Plasma Pen? Plasma Pen is the device used in a new anti-ageing skin tightening treatment known as Fibroblast Treatment or Fibroblasting. It is the worlds most advanced, non-invasive, skin lifting, skin tightening and rejuvenation device used to treat wrinkles, skin tags and sagging skin. It offers a much less expensive and less invasive alternative to cosmetic surgery, with minimal downtime in comparison.
How does Plasma Pen Work?
When the pen is held close to the skin, but not touching, oxygen and nitrogen are mixed. The electrostatic energy produces a flash of plasma (a plasma arch) which discharges onto the skin. It forces the skin tissue’s immediate contraction, causing thermal disruption to the dermis, thus inducing fibroblasts to stimulate new collagen production. The thermal disruption causes the excess skin to dry superficially into tiny crusts (see image below) which then fall off at approximately 5 to 8 days, (depending on a client’s individual healing process) revealing new skin. The client’s skin then tightens further over the following 12 weeks as type 111 collagen turns into the stronger type 1 collagen.
Louise Walsh International developed Plasma Pen to deliver completely natural soft surgery plasma fibroblasting with stunning, long-lasting results.
Until the Plasma Pen’s introduction, Laser or skin peels were the ‘go-to’ treatments for correcting fine lines and wrinkles; however, these treatments take layers from your skin. Plasma Pen does the opposite, and it helps thicken the skin resulting in a more youthful plumper appearance. Apart from surgery, it is the only treatment that can tighten the skin on the eyelids.
